| Also, this study was only looking at mortality in a four-year period, so it doesn't necessarily mean a high BMI is a moot point for longer-term health. That said, I think Paul Campos did a great job of discrediting the value of the BMI in The Obesity Myth, hot fat sex as well as reporting other studies that do suggest that a higher (not necessarily extremely high) BMI is actually helpful later in life. Personally, I think the BMI is a terrible measure, and I also hot fat sex think that the real culprit re health is the quality of diet.
