If we narrow it down to only those descriptions that describe WEIGHT percentages rather than VOLUME percentages, we could describe a human body in chemical terms as being: around 60% water; 15% proteins; 20% lipids (fats) with the remaining 5% being mostly carbohydrates with small amounts of many nucleic acids included. |
