METHODS: A sample of 62 subjects of both genders aging 20-45 years-old was used in the study. The adipose tissue distribution was based on the waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). Body fat content was estimated by the body mass index (BMI), and physical activity was assessed by maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max).
