His suggestion on "solving" the obesity "problem" is a bit more blunt: Epstein suggests that bounce we allow employers, schools, insurers and so forth to "viciously discriminate against any person who is obese." He was joking about the "vicious" part, but his point is serious. Epstein wants employers to be able to openly discriminate against fat people, and control their employees' weight through just about any method they desire. Stop me if this sounds familiar: a transcripts man writes in to an advice column about his wife's weight gain during their marriage, transcripts and the response is... well... hm. This time it's a little more befuddling. He claims to have given up drinking at his wife's request 15 years ago; he's now finding it hurtful that she isn't controlling her weight.
