| Losing weight, in my opinion, will have little effect on diseases and I suspect that the exercise people engage in to lose weight (usually a short-term deal for most people) offers benefits that they attribute to weight. One last comment on the question of the literature: penguin books books I don't believe the "it" in Paul's argument was "a correlation," I believe "it" was a cause and effect relationship.
