I do not mean to suggest that the "evidence" is "indisputable," only to take issue with Campos' assertion that it "when you actually go look at the medical literature," it [a correlation between weight fat bitch and health] doesn't exist. The evidence regarding obesity is absolutely disputable. Medicine, or any discipline that claims to operate with scientific rigor, should use existing evidence and be ready to discard it when better evidence becomes available. In the current medical literature, being fat is a risk factor for diabetes just as, in the current literature, being black is a risk factor for sickle cell anemia.
