Last night's episode of Last night's episode of Boston Public opened fat costume up the new season fat costume and tackled the idea of fat acceptance. A group of overweight girls wanted to "mobilize" and create a club called Fat Girls, for any girls that were overweight, smart, and felt alienated at school. Confronting an overweight teacher to sponsor the club caused the teacher to reflect on her own attitudes with her fat - as well as those of a co-worker, who ultimately said that while there's "nothing wrong" with fat people, and he won't be at any rallies for fat people, he wouldn't want to see two fat people kissing. While that dialogue sounded far-fetched at first, in retrospect it was a pretty neat way to tackle things.
