While I agree that working on a more active lifestyle is a good thing for everyone, regardless archives of age, I just wanted to say that walking to school is not an option for a lot of kids. While some kids do attend school in their neighborhood, many do not. Some kids live in areas where it's not SAFE to walk to school or play outdoors for that matter. And with school budgets facing huge deficits, a lot of sports and phys ed programs are getting cut. |
