I've seen a lot, and you have too. The actor was clunky, stiff, virginia and had an (of course) enormous double-chin. Thing is, any normal person standing next to Julia Louis-Dreyfus would look enormous; she's very skinny. So they overindulged, and buried this guy in latex, and he looked silly, uncomfortable, and ridiculous. I was waiting for Ellie to say, "Okay pal, take off the fat suit." Hm. You virginia don't think... naw. The fat suit was a subplot untouched? Maybe this guy liked Ellie, but wore the fat suit virginia to see if she'd still like him.... naaah. As a bonus, the last scene was insulting. After striking out with Ellie, the guy called an escort to get his satisfaction for the night. Does this happen? Sure. But why does it have to follow the stereotype of the lonely, single fat guy who can't get a date or get laid because he's fat? I'm fucking tired of that stereotype. He also dressed poorly, which is no surprise; he's a fat guy, and of course he has to be sloppy. Can we ever have a TV character not freak out entirely when one has gained weight?
