Thompson refused because she was able to fit in one seat, buckle the belt, and put her armrest down. She was forcibly removed from the plane by police officers. The trial is now in court. The bad news is that most of Thompson's original complaint was thrown out; Thompson was looking to prove that Southwest's policy unfairly targets minorities and emotional distress. |
