If fat teens he had a lot of stress, that could also be a factor. But, believe me, I know a lot of naturally thin people who have high fat diets, lots of stress & don't exercise, & I worry a HELL of a lot more fat teens about them that I do about me...I eat quite a lot of fruits & veggies, a fair amount of lowfat or nonfat foods, lots of fiber, I don't smoke, I don't use alcohol, I do take good care of my fat teens teeth & gums, & I exercise a lot. I also had a lot of relatives, especially the women on my mother's side of the family, who lived to between 85 & 95, & NONE of them (they were all fat) died of a heart attack. In fact my mother's doctors used to remark about the fact that she had the heart of an oxe, just as several have remarked inwonder that I have a resting pulse of about 60 bpm. Health, fitness, & longevity are not necessarily related to being fat or thin.
