And it would be the same as the witch hunts in that people are looking for an evil that simply does not exist. Just this time it's a faceless evil, rather than a relatively innocent person. (They're not planning to burn fat people at the stake... yet) I actually came across the mongoose thing just two days ago. It's still fresh in my mind. I'm sure there are other such examples where the solution is worse than a perceived problem. |

Wtich hunt might plumpers movies be a little plumpers movies misleading. Witch hunts set out to blame specific people. Now we're setting out what? Tell people they're victims of something? Of course, the paranoia of witch hunting is the same feeling we've got going here. What I see is something plumpers movies more along the lines of using mongoose to control the rat problem of Hawaii, and, of course, creating a mongoose problem in Hawaii. There are a zillion 'solutions' to the 'obesity epidemic'. But every single one seems to make the 'problem' bigger. Stop trying to fix it, and the 'problem' will literally go away.
