| People there are WAY thinner than in the States, and much healthier too. Americans are chubby fat because they eat too much and move about too little. Sure, there is a "diet craze" and eatign disorders and such, but with a simple lifestyle change that involves excersize and smart eating habits, one can have a normal weight, be healthy and live long.
