What bugs me about the Sports Utility Human pics is that the photographer used the same bias about fat people that the mass media does. All the photos are of headless torsos. No faces, plumpers pics no smiles, plumpers pics no feet, nothing that humanizes the people of his pictures. It's really a portrait of bias. This is why Shyly's photos even more remarkable. We see her plumpers pics beautiful face. She's allowed to be sexy and lovely. No doubt, the people in the other photographs are also sexy, but we can't see anything past his fascination/repulsion of fat people. Loser. Posted by Maria on May 5, 2005 09:22 PM. Maria, I think the reason they don't use faces is so that they won't get sued by people who obviously didn't give their permission to be photographed and published.
