The imagery in the SUV ads always show how rugged and tough those vehicles are, which I think is a good image for us fat folks to have (not that I'm supporting his offensive project). Also, is it just me, or do most of the people I see driving SUVs are often times very petite women?
Back then I just thought I was an ugly fat woman, and had a husband who reinforced it. I wonder if someone my age (51) can develop the ability to see themself as bobby plump "beautiful" still.
