The beam for the door has been moved too far "up" the car. It blocks large people from getting heavy plumpers into the car. I ended up only fitting into 2 cars that I could heavy plumpers drive that day. One was the VW beetle (a 2005 model) and the other was the car I bought 2004 Buick Lesabre. It has a bench seat, but also the wheel adjusts up far enough and the seat down low and back enough that I fit into the car and can drive it.
