The point I was trying to make wasn't that she apparently showed up with doughnuts, but that the company chose to emphasize the fat joke and negative stereotypes instead. Especially given Paul's latest info, it doesn't help. I'm just afraid it's going to turn into another "let's make fun of fat people, especially women" program. For one, Kirstie does position herself as someone who has "let herself go" and who overconsumes food and beverage. |
