The link you supplied seems to be dead but I was able to see it at http://apnews.myway.com/article/20031223/D7VJU00G0.html But I don't think eating chips and drinking soda are a good plump asses idea for anybody, no matter what their size. (And it's not like the snack plump asses and soft drink industries are going to go belly-up for lack of business.) Why not show people of all shapes and plump asses sizes exercising and being happy? Heck, if the government really wanted to increase exercise by fat people they'd make it possible to track people via license plates so the cretins who scream at me while I'm out walking could stop being anonymous. Even better would be a small but vigorous enforced fine for harrassment so it would cost them for being a jerk. But that's not as easy to do as erecting a billboard.
